CrossFit, CrossFit Endurance, CrossFit Lite & CrossFit Kids
In order to join our general CrossFit classes we will need you to complete our CrossFit Foundations Course. This is a five session small group training (or personal training) course to educate new members on CrossFit movements, class structure and will enable a seamless transition into the main classes. Completion of the Foundations will allow members (depending on their membership type) to be able to join any of the classes we offer. It will also give you the opportunity to find out if CrossFit is for you before signing up to a membership. (Come and check out our Open Day on the 29th of March to get an early bird sign up deal)
The CrossFit general classes follow the CrossFit methodology of constantly varied, high intensity movements in a fun setting with qualified coaches who are invested in your health and well being. Everything you do in a CrossFit class is measurable and you will see yourself getting fitter and stronger before your very eyes.
These classes will have a cardio base, with less of the more technical movements incorporated in the general CrossFit classes. They will have a Hyrox(tm) -type focus and are perfect for pre-season, off season or mid season fitness, or for those who like an all weather indoor option.
This class is targeted at those who need to move more gently with less intensity than the other classes we offer. It is perfect for pregnan or post-partum Mums, people recovering from injuries, or for some of the older members of the community who would like to build strength and fitness.
Twice a week, we will offer classes for primary aged school children to come along and enjoy fun sessions while improving their fitness and strength without even realising it's happening. It's a fantastic all weather sport option for our Southland climate.
